So I was wondering how many, if any, Ironworkers play? I've been playing poker for quite some time, I think I first learned around the age of 7 or 8. Most of my family are long time players of card games, even a little known one called "tonk". I play online a little bit, I just started that really, I'm hopin to supplement my income, hopefully I don't end up losin all the money I put in . Me and friends play a lot too, atleast we used to, it seems to have lost a little of its buzz. But I play with my dad and his friends a lot, I've been on a huge winning streak lately, knock on wood. How about all you?

We sometimes have poker nights, but they're pretty randomly. We might have one a week for two weeks, then not another for two months.

The last one ended in two of my mates (there were six of us, £5 in) too drunk to play, and the rest of us deciding that we should spend the pot on more beer (it was 2am )

Edited for not getting his "they're"'s right.

A few of my friends and i used to get together weekly and play five card stud with our shrapnel. It got a little serious before long and we got some proper poker chips to make it easier. A while after that, it got a little too serious and we kinda lost track of why we were playing in the first place. Still, it was fun while it lasted.

It's funny that this thread should pop up just now. I've just found out that a friend of mine (one who i used to play poker with) won $26000 on a hand of poker at the casino on the weekend. Lucky bastard.

I've been playing forever, it feels like. My grandmother must have taught me when I was six or seven. I keep it up, too, and I'm pretty good at it, and I'd be lying if I said I never hustled drunken fraternity brothers out of their beer money

I've been playing for a couple of years. Play online (although not so much just now) on pokerstars.com (also have played on party poker, ladbrokes, titan poker, VC poker, purple lounge, ultimatebet etc.). Also play in the casino in tournaments and cash games (I much prefer cash games myself).

Best streak was winning a 600$ in a 33$ tourney and after 8 hours play turning it into 14000$.

I never quite understood poker online. I mean, the whole game is about bluffing and such, but how is this accomplished via the internet? I've never bothered online, just doesnt seem like it would work very well to me.
