Hmm. Something funny happened when I killed those three mages. One of them turned up at the Council of Six building and attacked a guard. I killed him then the guard said "stand back, citizen!" Ungrateful oaf.

Look for a derelict house in the eastern Slum area. Check your map, it will be marked.

He is in the Slums, in a house at the top of that map. Get ready to get your ass kicked by three bad ass Mages. Better to kill the dude first with out warning, then the Mages don't drop in.

Yeah, go to the government district and make a deal with the mage group's leader. Then Ployer'll be defenseless, 'cept he's got a fine swordarm for a noble.

Spoiler alert

When you Go to the government district, go into the council building then when you come out a mage will be there. Bribe him to TURN on ployer. It becomes the easiest fight of the whole game.
