Default The Importance of Wynn (NWN2)

Spoilers ahoy.

.
.
In the Eyegouger clan caves, when you fight the Shadow Priest, there is a person lying on the floor called Wynn, and his description says he is only there to bring his arcane might down on you... But during the fight he just lies there, after the fight he just lies there, and when I've tried to talk to him or heal him, he jsut lies there. He doesn't seem to have any point (and yes, he is alive because he sometimes moves).
So does he do anything, or does he just lie there for your characters to kick?

Wynn is a classmate of Qara's from the Arcane Academy. If you take Qara with you into the caves, there is some additional dialog that opens up.
