Hmmm...
tgcmd is a spyware, but it not might be the cause... Nothing relevant found on weather powerReg scheduler V3 is an adware, which provides you unwanted ads from the net... The others checks out ok. You can safely uncheck "tgcmd" and "powerReg scheduler V3" just to remove some nasty stuff, but it will not improve on your current situation. Anyway, is that the complete list? Oh well... I have reached my limit. Sorry that I could not help you more. You can either: 1. Bring the PC to a shop and ask them to help you to clean up the mess (pay, pay and pay) or 2. Back up whatever important data you have (mails and stuff) and reformat your PC. (If you can DIY, it is free). [ 05-31-2004, 02:20 PM: Message edited by: Paladin2000 ]

Yeah, you will never know what you've picked up from the internet these day. Be sure to download and install Spybot after you have done with it.

I went to download.com and picked them up there, so far, ad-aware found 22 things, and spybot found 16, and now I have to deal with my husband being mad that I got rid of the mysearch, he swears it is not a highjacker :/

Just do a search on "mysearch" using Google and show the results of the pages to him. Spyware and stuff are often disguised as "good stuff and utilities".

"MYsearch" opens a door durring download that Trojen Horses use to ride on to your computer! I had the same thing happen in march I finally had to change my E-mail address to keep the trojen horses off my computer.
Once the Hackers find a address that can be gotten to they send an auto loader to your address. They put an auto load timer on the auto loader that will reload the Trojen horse once a day to refresh it, so that every time you remove the Trojen it reloads at the set time. I finally got rid of the problem by getting a new E-mail address from my provider. Its Free!! [ 05-31-2004, 03:27 PM: Message edited by: TheCrimsomBlade ]
