Eceil then turns to Joneth.
“Have you swept this room let? Found any bugs?”

Terassk nearly pounds his head into the nearby wall in boredom. He cranes his neck and watches the arguements and what-nots unfold. Listening, but not answering.

No, I have not. This is our bunker, remember? Besides, any sensitive information we were really worried about has already been said. And that would bring down assailants all over the place, should be what you violent types like, right?

After the last little jab, Joneth continues to work on his datapad, grimacing.

“We haven’t said anything they shouldn’t have expected us to figure out eventually. Just do me a favor and sweep the place when you get a chance. Now I don’t know about you guys, but from where I’m sitting it looks like the next smart move for us would be to try and figure out what’s really going with the Trill’ and their little screwed up relationship with the Republic. Any suggestions?”

The General, after standing silent for a little while, kind of slumps in upon himself, showing just how old he really is. In a meek voice, marking his shame as an officer in speaking, he asks to be given quarter at the base.

Then, looking to Eciel before a response can be given, says "I'm not here to give orders. I'm real tired nowadays. Tired of giving my input, only to have it thrown away. Tired of making suggestions that make sense only because no one else has the courage to make them. Mostly, though, I'm just tired of taking the fall for another group of people who seem to get away with their crimes unpunished."

He gives Joneth his datacards, and in a few cases, physical files (about 2 kg worth on various mediums), and tells him that this is the evidence.
