In the comic, or the cartoon? (in the toon he brought back Venom, in the comic he just got lycanthropy). I'm fine with not having every possible villain explored, heck having Dr. Connors in a prominant role in spidey 2 was great, even without the Lizard. I sincerely don't want the movies to turn into "how many villains can we cram into a 2 hour movie" fest like the Batman series of movies became.
There were also rumors of a Spiderman cameo in X-2, maybe they'll have him swing by in the third X-film, or perhaps other Marvelites (ie supers from the marvel universe that aren't necessarily mutants, like the Avengers, and the Fantastic Four)

Correct, although I couldn't believe they cast Jessica Alba as the invisible girl, nice eye candy, poor Sue Storm.
