After reading SomeGuy's post about a ghostly apparition in his new house, I have to ask:
How many of you believe in supernatural things?

I suggest anyone who believes in the supernatural read:

"Why People Believe Weird Things : Pseudoscience, Superstition, and Other Confusions of Our Time" By Michael Shermer.

also try: www.Skeptic.com and read the archive section on "RANDI AT CALTECH: A REPORT FROM THE PARANORMAL TRENCHES".

This is one of those things folks feel pretty strongly about one way or the other. Sort of like politics... few are lukewarm to it.

It is out there, sightings of the things prove it enough, we just don't know what to make of it yet... Supernatural, IMO, is just another way of saying "unexplainable occurance"

As a scientist, I had originally voted the second one (everything that isn't explainable by science is Bull****, but I got to thinking, especially when you put it like that...Isn't Tiamat our very own example of an "unexplainable occurance?" I certainly don't know what to make of him. Maybe HE is proof of the existence of the supernatural...

BTW, AYB...

Personally I blame junk food and additives for such occurrences
