Anomen is great. I gave him some great armour and abig mace and he was doing great. Plus he could bring people back to life so as long as either he or Aeirie were alive, then everyone could have full heath and magic arour and bonuses like protect from poison and haste.

Give aerie crom faer and good armour and she's a tank, with the stoneskin spells you don't even need armour. In ToB i had her take out about 6 fire giants with the help of my mage PC.

Powergamer-wise:

Anomen rocks, especially after he passes his test. Prepare to change your options to no NPC dialogue though... ...

anomen is good if your player is a force of righteousness. when my PC was a paladin, Anomen replaced Jaheira right after the Keep. (nalia's, not watcher's) he's really good after he passes his test, and, even though he is annoying and pompous and arrogant, he serves the side of good. he is just lacking social skills, which my paladin taught him along the way.

Anomen is great. Give him good armour, a good mace, the bracers of dexterity and the girdle of hill giant strength, and he really is the strongest NPC out there.
