Portal of Isis

At the portal - the one in the area where the leprechaun treasure is, where one
gets the obelisk of light - is there a point to the lever down the hole?
(I've gotten breathers, flipped the lever, stones move but i can't go down
the hole)

you need to flip the swiych so that you can go back down into the shrine

Have flipped the switch but can't go down. There is a grating sound, of
something moving, and the stones at the top close but it's a closed room.
(At this point I haven't gone to the Shrine of Anephas & used the obelisk)

Hmmm... that's a problem. Make sure you're not "standing" on the floor, or you could prevent it from opening. That's basically your way back down into the shrine.

You could use an alternate means, casting Call of Home from that lost area. Downside is that you then need to make your way back to Anephas' shrine, which takes a while.

In the unpatched version of the game the stone pillar has been known to become stuck, but I do not think I have heard of its being stuck whil someone was still up there.

Hi eddie,

Is this your first trip up to the Leprechaun treasure area?
Did you get to this area by using Vanish or by going through Kerah's area?
If you have the obelisk - you don't really need to go back to Kerah's area. Only the Obelisk of Light is needed/important.
If you haven't finished Anephas' Tomb - you can try Vanish to get back over to that area or call of home.

Hope you got it all resolved. Even if the door won't open, it shouldn't be too much of a problem if you have the Obelisk of Light.

Just remembered that I had this problem once. If you leave Kerah's place the regular way and then use teleport to get back there, then the grate can't be opened.

Hi Wyv/all,
yes that was my first trip there - i was using vanish to get the treasure,
and got the obelisk first. Realised after reading some of the threads that
the lever was for using to open the thing to see Kerah and get the obelisk,
so was kinda doing it the wrong way.

Only bark seed, monks ward and cet left now. [img]smile.gif[/img]
(Hope i can learn how to tree surf)
