Since I still can't play beyond the prision ship, I'm curious as to the sign/class/race development stratgies that others are using. But I *do* like to speculate even when I can't play...

I've been looking at them and thinking that if I were a Thief, I might choose The Thief. But The Tower has some nice benefits. And The Shadow could come in real handy when you make a theif blunder...

So, I'm curious...

I am restarting today and I am gonna chose The Lady as the sign. Personality seems to be soo important and I hate being hated [img]smile.gif[/img]

i really love having the Tower. so far, its been very useful. i guess later on it might not be so valuable. but later on, i don't think i will need as much help as i seem to need in the beginning.

i'm really concentrating on her short blade, sneak, acrobatics, athletics, destruction, and lately marksman.

i adore playing her. she's still a lowly level 7, but she's been coming into her own very nicely. i haven't really aligned her with anyone, altho i'm letting her join every group that will have her.

I went for the Lover. That Paralyze ability works wonders and has gotten me out of some tough jams.

I've got Lady as well, but at high levels, it it useless, because you can't have more than 100 on your stats, in other words, with Lady, you max out faster, but in the end, it's useless. I'm making a new char, probably gonna pick a sign that gives more magicka.

High Elf, Mage, with the Lady... all for naught? I didn't think ahead to the 100 point max on attribs.

I was so jazzed last night, hitting 2nd level. Ack. Reroll time.

Any suggestions for a Mage? Apprentice won't work -that'd be a double-whammy with susceptability to fire, magicka, frost, shock... I'd be a walking fire-hazard. Mage or Tower or what??

I went for a male nord crusader under the sign of the apprentice.

The +150% magicka pool is a must. More mana means i cast more, so i train faster without having to rest.
On the downside, i'm vulnerable to magick. having a high endurance, I don't fear damage spells, but draining spells hit hard (and sometimes permanently).

I'm using the Lord sign. It sucks being susceptible to fire attacks, but the ability to regenerate for 60 secs(?) is niiice, especially during a tough battle. Now if only I can find something magical to boost my protection towards fire to even things out again...

Well I play the necromancer on Diablo 2 and that's finess and magic and I Love playing the thief or the dark mage. And with that for the obvious reasons I'm playing the following:

ORC
KNIGHT
THE RITUAL
BIG AXE
CRUSH
KILL
DEATH

Well variety is good...no?

P.S.
And as for being hated. When your axe is big enough or you hand quick enough who cares who hates you. For fun quicksave and kill the town you'd be surprised at the theraputic effect it has on your stress level.
