During play I have noticed a few annoying things recently. WHilst on the road to Trynton I observed two of my characters (Tundle Witherstone the dwarf "homicide on legs with and axe" and Fayena the elf "nosy inquisitive ranger") achieving two attacks per round (the final attacks generaly coming in at the end, not that this made much of a difference in Tundle's case). I was happy, characters didn't have to be a Samurai in order to mash their foes into the ground (but it helps !!), however, shortly after entering Trynton I observed that they had reverted to normal fighting speed. I loaded my backup save (known as the "Desparate Save" ever since Might and Magic 6)and checked to see if their attack skills had lowered (the contrary had occurred in fact), if they were suffering any conditions (zilch) or for anything else which might give me a clue. Eventually I worked it out, shortly after entering Trynton (the city of many confusions, dumb guards and the unmendable bridge of which nobody will speak- mind you, Myles and Vi did refer to the locals as rather dimwitted) the parties general encumberance had entered the "blue" stage. After Fayena's recently gaining a fresh level put her load in the clear she reverted back to swift shots and my suspicion was verified. Encumberance can dock you attacks but I haven't seen it reduce speed yet.

Also whilst rescueing Vi I noticed her kicking the robots as well as striking them with her mace, as soon as she joins the party she instantly forgets how to do this. Is this an in joke at whatever she used to do in Wizardry 7? Was she a ninja or high kicking cheerleader?

All responses gladly awaited (if any).

If you have at least 1 male in your party, she won't be able to do those high kicks. If you haven't noticed yet, Vi has a very short skirt, and should she do kicks.. it would, lets say "paralyze" the male members of the party.

(yeah, I know I'm pushing it with this thread, but I tried to make it as PG-13 as I could, which is not easy when it's an off-colour-joke)

I also have another tip, which will cure all your wizardry8-problems for a while.. it's

*spoiler*

a little something called...

Metal gear solid2.

Yes every load of your characters other then white is bad. From good to worth: White-Blue-Green-Red.

Not speaking when you are in the read your are cursed! Always juste pick up what you may use. I play with patch 001b to be apple to pickpocket so I don't need to pisk up all the stuff to convert it to gold. PP is the best skill to get loads of gold.

heh, I was playing Metal Gear Solid 2 last year. When I lived in New York, a buddy who's an exec at Sony had the Japanese release.

It was funny to go to software shops seeing kids play the game on the console and I could get them past places in the ship... good game, but I'm not much of a console gamer.

Metal gear solid 2. Isn't that the one with a soundtrack by a professional film soundtrack designer? I hate console games too with their impossible controls but playing them can sometimes be rewarding (in the case of Severance) or simply frustrating (in the case of most others).
