Good report Mr Elkston, echo my own thoughts about the game.
Its a good game but not a great game, and IMO certainly not of the standard of Mr Bradley's Wizardry series (Pe Wiz8 of course). I do hope we do see more publications from DWB, but on the minimal off-chance that he reads these boards I do hope he makes his next game compatible with the operating system and hardware applicable to the at the release of the game. W&W is a Dos game cobbled to run under Win, and it shows! Strangely in some ways W&W is more Wizardry series like than Wizardry 8. W&W has an atmosphere, and thats what characterised the Wizardry series, but was lacking in Wiz 8. The days of 1st person D&D games has unfortunately passed, and I feel we will have skant offerings in the future. Shame really, it was fun! |

Sorry, bfstcs, but as you can see here, you're not the first to deny being DW Bradley. Just the most recent.
I still have my suspicions about Radek...

Bungleau!
I think after elkston read that old post he will be so confused that he really needs D.W's help to fix his image of Gael Serran! And where's Radek? Haven't seen him for ages!

well, i guess that an investigation needs to be carried out in order to find out who is INDEED D.W. Bradley! List of suspects are most likely:-
1)Wyvern 2)Radek 3)Bsfcts 4)Bungleau well well well, unexpectedly these are our 4 prime suspects! |

Now just to raise some further suspicion and throw another player into the ring: Why do you think Sazerac has been so strangely quiet on the W&W forum for so long? Perhaps he has something to hide in this respect. And what about Chocolate? We all submit to him every day, but what do we know of his alter ego?

Upon reflection, I think it is highly doubtful that Wyvern is Bradley.
The main reason is that Wvy. would often post information about hex editing and even go as far as to hack people's savegames. But it was obvious that the information he discovered was through reverse engineering and trial and error. If Wyrven were actually Bradley, the W&W source code and game tools would be readily available to him and he wouldn't need to poke around with Hex Editors to reverse-engineer save games. Wyrven is a pillar of the W&W online community. But is not D.W. Bradley. [ 10-05-2003, 11:17 AM: Message edited by: elkston ]
