Seems like your new job has some great perks, Mark. You've been very lucky, all in all. It's hard to find a decent position here in New England these days.

And Mel, I'm happy to have contributed to the field of psychoanalysis in my own oblivious little way. It's a subject I'm fiercely passionate about and so strive to aid the development of essays concerning it as often as humanly possible. Or something.

Today is the big first day. I kept waking up from 2:30 until I finally got out of bed at 4:30. Hopefully I'll be able to get a good night's sleep soon!

I went to the website for the company and I finally realized how big the company is. I've always seemed to worked for little businesses that were about to file for bankruptcy. This ought to be a refreshing change.

I was told the job was fast paced and I would need to do a bit of multitasking. This will be a welcome change since at my previous job I was usually looking for something to do!

Maybe I'll get some good exercise at work as well as biking at home!

Tough first day. Lots of resposibility, new software and procedures to learn....massive headache by the end of the day. Try it all again tomorrow. I expect it to get much easier as I catch on to their system.
