Following idea from Jabidas, here we are:
.
Elminster is an over-statted munchkin character and Ed Greenwood would sulk and cry like a little baby if anybody did the correct thing and killed him
phew!

Yeah, if you tried to kill him in BG1 the game would crash! That sucks! Maybe we get to kill him in ToB? That would be nice

I hope so. Doubt that would be in keeping with the licence. Maybe the gold/silver/nickel underwear combo is enough to give him a super-fatal wedgie!

something i would pay to see:
Elmie does seem to have a thing for the ladies..... so maybe surround him with a couple dozen tavern wenches, who eagerly crowd him and start conversing "i'm a fine looking strumpet, ain't i?" & "wanna play with me diddies?" & "i've never been with a MAN before".... ya think the old dude might explode into a billion bits on the spot?
*lol* i'm sorry, but i would happily give up several reputation points just to watch that!!

That's a good point. Ed's attitude is of one who can't get along with the girls, so Elminster (being an extension of his ego) would react the same - how about if the 7 sisters started teasing him going "Virgin, virgin"

Ah, the old fart of the Forgotten Realms,
You can't kill him, he has the power Favourite NPC, this makes him completely indestructible, and even if you do pull something off and kill him, he will be resurrected and be back bigger and stronger than before.
