What's Fatigue's effect? If your men is fatigued so what's with it? He's only whining?? And is there anyway to cure fatigue instead of resting

Fatigue will cause (I think!) -1 to all rolls including attacks, and saves.
Also this will worsen every 4 hours after the 1st warning (?).
You sleep to cure fatigue.
There are items in BG and IWD that will stop this.. but the rest of your party is tired so not mush point.
One of the effects of Wild Magic Surge will also rest that Mage in particular.

HAIL AERIE!

You can stop your party members (apart from the main character) whinging about fatigue by attempting to remove them from your party. When they walk back to you and say something like "do you really want me to go?", you change your mind and don't actually let them go. The whinging stops (at least it did in SoA without the patch and I haven't tried it since).

I don't know if this messes up any romances, since mine never really got going (apart from Aerie, but I couldn't face her wing stubs, so I dropped her).

I frequently used this technique as I try to sleep as little as possible.

I'd be interested to know if it cures the fatigue effects mentioned above - I never really noticed.
