Timed out

I'm trying to log on to this mod.

Every time I try tho it says server timed out.

Anyone know what i might be doing wrong lol

Well, first thing to check is that you were trying it when the server was online. I know it says 24/7 but it sometimes crashes.

Also, can you connect to other servers, or do you get time outs on all of them. If so, its probably something in your firewall. Post details of your system, it makes it easier to give meaningful advice.

I get timeouts too. It's not a firewall issue - I can connect to other servers just fine.

I'm using vanilla NWN, 1.32.

EDIT : This has been happening the last couple fo days. I used to be able to connect to Undermountain just fine, but not any more, apparently. Hmm ... but this is the first time I've tried since it was put on the dedicated server, though.

You have NWN 1.32? I don't know if this is an issue or not, but Z has made EfU entirely SoU compliant - so maybe the time out issue is actually a compatibility issue???? I plead ignorance on the issue about whether NWN1.32 provides SOU compatibility.

I thought the same, so I checked the NWN Server info page, and Dan said he was using v.1.32. I only really tried to connect to check out if it still worked after reading the first post here

Well, I dunno if it's a compatibility issue, but it may be [img]smile.gif[/img]

I am almost positive that Dan is using SOU v1.32, so the comptability question still exists.

I thought that you got an error message if you tried connecting to an incompatible game version, but haven't ever run into that issue so don't know for sure.

yes I can get into other games.

I have Sou and 132 patch ,

I run 633 megs , 256 ram , and a G2 vidio card.

I don't have problems conecting to anything hehe.

I'll try to get on tonight and will let you know if I can .

Tried it recently too and it timed out. The forums then timed out when I immediately went to hit them.

Sometimes it locked up, and it will look like it's online, but when you connect, it times you out. I have reset it, and everything looks ok.

Also, it could be our backbone to the internet. do a tracert in DOS or use a trace route proggie that does screenshots (Visualroute) and see if it's someone between us losing packets.

I am indeed using v1.32. Which HAS been more buggy than the previous release. sucks.. can't wait for the 2nd addon, maybe that will fix some of these crashes.
