How about creating a store or putting in some new npc's that wont bugger off when you release them i.e. (multiplayer). If this can be done please do or give instructions on how-to.

To put items in the game you either have to place them on your character with Shadowkeeper or use the CLUAconsole.. I'll look at the scimitars and see whats up.
Item creating can be done with IEEP - Infinity Engine Editor Pro from http://www.teambg.com. Also it would be a big help to get the infinity browser or shadowkeeper to extract files from the game. Editing current weapons and stuff is much much easier than creating ones from scratch.
