Well I am sitting here and thinking about and I break out into a cold sweat. Do they go to bed early or not? Sydney goes to be around 8:00 which is nice then me and the wife get a little quite time. But do you even get quite time in your house LOL. And the big question is how many loads of laundry do you do.

Stormy, your story makes me wish I was married now. I love kids in the 2-4 yr range. except for diaper changing. Glad to hear you got over the headache and got to play with your daughter.

take my honest advice, enjoy your freedom while you can, I would not give up my life now, but wish I had of known how hard it would be to be married, and have kids, it is no longer just about you

Kids are great, they are completely adorable and innocent until they become teenagers. I have a 5 year old who is an angel and about a year and a half ago my wife and I began to take guardianship of her 15 year old troubled brother. He's never been a terribly bad kid but he is very manipulative and deceitful. Couple that with the friends he hangs around and I've started to hate, dislike most but not all teenagers. I hope my son turns out to have a good head on his shoulders as a teen.

It must be extra hard on you Stormymystic with your husband working nights. I work nights also and my wife hates it. We want to have another child when she finishes school but I don't know how she will be able to go through those crying baby nights all alone.

Question Mark

well...in a few months i will have a 16 month old and a newborn to care for.....wish me luck! i remember when my 4 yo went through the kisses will make it better phase. i miss it so much. but when we lost custody of her she started crying for everything she wanted (apparently this is how she gets things from my parents) so we had to start ignoring it. so now she ignores me when i cry or simply tells me she'll tell on daddy for hurting my feelings.

sorry about the headache stormy, but congrats on the kisses.
