All in all I rate it a 6.5 or 7 max. The french polished nails and perm in a certain someones hair really gave it up in the end. Good special effects and past story line brought me to this film. I do not even think it comes close to the original but has its own openess in its future for diifferent parts. Alot of jumping around for naught.

I saw it recently and I thought that it wasn't up to Tim Burtons usual standard. Disappointing ending.

You woosey girls blowse Bahamut! Go and watch it! It's called entertainment, not a thesis on "exploring alternate posiblities of Darwinian evolution in the event of post-nuclear survival." No it's not the movie to end all movies, but it was worth the $7 I paid to see it and took me to another place... even if there were moments where I was brought resoundingly back to my cinema seat filled with cringing feelings.

It was still very entertaining and I'd see it again.
