Firstly, only Lawful Good characters can use it (or is it restricted to paladins ony?)
The sword is found somewhere in the Windspear Hills. Remember Lord Firkraag who spoke ti you in the Copper Coronet regarding the monsters there? Take up his quest, follow through and you'll find it. Expect a big fight though, but the sword is a reward for that tough fight. Shan't say any more w/o spoiling. |

I don't normally do it till chapter 6. IT IS a Dragon after all. Do the black first then the red. Probably try them aound level fourteen or fifteen if you want a challenging but not impossible fight. At these levels you should make it through without anyone dieing. Only Paladins can use Carsomyr.

Thanks Draggor, i tried this quest the first time I played thru, I did it in chapter six, but I was a fighter and did it for exp not the holy sowrd. Now I'm a paladin and tried it at level 8-10 for my group (only 5) and never made it past those stupid vampires, but now I know what level to reallt try it at (beacuse my fighter the first time was level 18-21 for the group and found it pretty easy) so anyway thanks!

I dunno what the problem is, i did it around CLVL 9-10 fairly early in chapter 2, if you have the sunblade the vampires shouldn't worry you (i saw one take around 1000 pts dam from the sunburst) i took Firkraag out with little trouble, the biggest problem was reloading after i lost 1/2 my party to him the first 17 times, and i actually managed it without cheesing
