Well, since I moved to Ireland few months ago I haven't gotten a PC, but in a week or two I'll be getting a laptop, which means I'll be able to play out my HoF party long before I thought I'd be able to.

Well, my question is would IWD run well on a laptop or are there any issues? I don't know the specs; it's a second hand one.

Oooh I'm just too happy, missed PC games a lot.

I play Icewind Dale: HoW on a laptop, and there are no problems that I can speak of. And I have one of the oldest Compaqs out there!

Good luck with your party, by the way!

I play exclusively on a laptop. The only real problem, IMO, is that you can't change/upgrade video cards very easily, if at all - so make sure the built-in card is decent.

I also suggest a new mouse. I can never play a game with the mousepad provided well.

I don't have any trouble using my touch pad for the IE games altho a mouse is a bit easier to control.
