Actually, playing video games near bed is a bad thing, especially if it has flashing/explosions/bright colors. They've said repeatedly that it keeps the mind awake for a while afterwards (even more so that seeing those on TV before going to bed, because you are interacting with the game). I can vouch for that, too. I have had nights where my mind just raced for the first few hours, just going over stuff in the game, all the time my body is asleep. I literally have to get up and read a book or something similar to "clear" my mind of the game.

Reading always helps me to fall asleep, although sometimes it's hours after I want to, especially if it's a good book!

Valium is great! Also aviod having a coffee 2 hours before bed. The caffeine will keep you awake. I've been known to have a burbon or two to help me sleep on the odd occasion
Valium = very very bad .... Alcohol= ok in moderation. Being a shift worker for nearly 10 years I’ve learned a thing or two about sleeping. Only ever use the bedroom for sleeping (or erm twister ) If you cannot sleep move to another room. Association of bedroom and sleep really does help the mind. Reading, or my fave a radio not quite tuned in, just playing very softly. The 'white' noise blocks out other noises and you just drift into sleep when you become too tired to concentrate on the music.

Running into walls is a great community sport. *Nods solemly*

I had an AS level exam today, it went okay.

You know...now that I think about it, I like T-D-C's twister idea.

Running into walls sounds...uh... painful! LOL

Eh, listening to my music would only keep me awake...unless I put something like LotR in!

Well, I'm off to go ride me horse and pick up some books and go visit my bro. Later everyone

Woo-hoo, I got off work early today! Oh, and that hill side will BURN!! Actually, I really wish we could just burn the crap off of it, but NO-oo, we have to take the weeds, and briars, and limbs with a scythe! Needless to say, I'm beat! G'night!

EDIT: By "limbs," I mean tree limbs, of course!
