Installing game problem

ok, here I go again. Returned the game to the store, got another one, hopefully thi will work this time! 3 min to go to see if I will be able to play this game or not!

ok, this isn't going very good, everything is all loaded, click play, and poof, now all I have is a pitch black screen. if you read the thread I posted earlier, it lists the problem I had earlier, and the computer that i am using, any help would be appreciated, I am getting really bored trying to install this game for the 15th time....

Beyond all prior advice, I can only siggest that you delete the folder after you uninstall to make sore no corrupt file info is keeping the new install from playing properly.
I have had no problems with this game running it on a lesser system than what you have (although I do have 128MB of memory and the same SoundBlaster you do in my system) EXCEPT for when corrupt file information prevented the game from running properly after I put in a stick of bad 128 memory. I replaced the memory, deleted the folder after I uninstalled it...re-installed, and ran the game without one lock-up or crash from start to finish.
