I've just browsed the directory by member numbers, and I found that there isn'nt a member #1, #6, #8, #9. Why is this?

LOL, if I had a pound for every time someone asked about the missing #1.....
just a software feature, nothing more to it. The other numbers are probably missing cos people had their accounts removed.

There is no member #1 due to some technicality in the way Ziroc registered the server. I assume that the others are missing because they have been removed for some reason or other (by request, by 'timeout', whatever).

Or maybe Ziroc wants us to think that number 1 is Choc. (always there, but never to be seen)

Some previous threads on the 'member number' issue:

member nr

Question: who was the 1st member on IW?

Hate my member number

there were others, but I don't have time to search

I thought that Choc has appeared twice, and He's got a different member number, not one...? Correct me if I'm wrong, oh Great Choc Of All. *bows to the Meow*

Came across this link in the threads Cloudy found. Great read from Donut on the origins of IW and the members, although, like many histories, there are those who doubt its truthfulness. Just remember, children, that history is always written by the victors...

Hmmm, hwta really amazes me is that a cat can actually type without humanoid help... I must teach my cat, pixie. Then maybe she can get an account...
