Im thinking... This is for Thf/Thf kit

Dagger
short bow
sling
short sword

but all of those are redundant to each other. 2 close 2 far range. Which one do i get rid of and get single hand style?

EDIT-- Would range weps, sling/bow be one hand or 2 hand?

No dagger? That would be traditional. I remember reading on one of the screens how the sling was special to the thf, or was that to halfling? either way im both, hehe.

I usually beef up hide in shadow, move silently, detect traps and open locks for my thieves. Never really "pickpocket" or "borrow" any items from NPCs yet.

Consider the total of available points in each skill is around 250, 115 is not too much. Personally I think it is OK since you only need a decent thief to accomplish your tasks, you don't need the "best" thief.

Ok there is no chapter on thf abilities from what I can see in the spiral... Whats the difference of move silently and hide in shadows? In the descript of the skill it says you have to use the skill to move silently, but why have that if you can hide in shadows? Youd think move silently would automatically be used when you walk with hide in shadows active, is that correct? LONGGG run on hehe.

Hide in shadow is the initial hiding yourself from the masses, move silently is applied when you are walking around WHILE hiding in shadow. Doesn't do you any good if everyone can hear you walking around while hiding in shadow now, does it?
