I picked up NWN: Diamond the other day at EBGames and I'm reading up on the documentation. I could do a full install with both expansions and the expansion module pack, but EfU doesn't support all of it. Do people at IW still play? Or would I find myself alone on the server after installing the special EfU setup?

I am just going to start it again. I recently bought NWN2 and want to finish NWN and the 2 expansions before I play NWN2. Just deliberating on whether to play the whole of NWN again with a new character or jus tthe expansions with my saved one. Might be fun to play a new char.

Many people here still play the EfU mod. You shouldn't be alone depending on your timezone.

Be sure to read this thread so you get everything that you need to play on the EfU Server

I'm running back and forth between both. I haven't touched an OC module for NWN's for years, however...All my NWN's 1 gaming is online.

I notice that the install instructions are based on the Platinum Edition. Will having the Diamond Edition cause any problems? (I figure it'll work if I don't install Kingmaker.)

So long as it has both expansions, you'll be fine.

I'm in the middle of a game right now. In SoU.

Want to finish both expansions and then start EfU, before trying NWN2.

As long as I have wandered in here, I might as well find out if I ever did know what this "EfU" referenced in here is/ was. I don't think I ever experimented with any NWN1 PWs at any point, and not many mods.

But I did pick up a copy of the Diamond Collection recently, as a sort of backup to my original CDs.

(Now I feel silly. Oh well, not the first time! I'm sure that within Escape's own forum, which I don't think I'd ever visited, the abbreviation is common.)

I'd suggest going either here or here for information on EfU.
As for myself, I mainly play/script/build/dm for a different persistantish world and have been for years.
