Hey Larry it is up to you really. If you just want to whip up a merchant object with an inventory of original armor &cloths, perhaps some with cool item properties for a premium. The interior of the building and tailor NPC can be done pretty easy.

If you want to make the tailor from the ground up it, including the interior of the shop, NPC, and custom items its up to you. Just say the word!

Also I am pretty sure from my dm expirience that sidequests can spring from a mere shopping trip to a tailor, so if you think of any of those take note and share!

Well, Larry, if it's anything like the blacksmith, what I've done is create a limited area, with a merchant, that has all the items in the merchant, and the store as well. I'm going to start working on the personality of the merchant when I'm done (I have some great ideas for him ), but I'm still doing the items.

Hey, what do ya'll think about adding a small tavern or two in the village in addition to the main Inn?

Also the idea for a Bowyer/Fletcher shop was tossed around and I believe added to the village exterior by Dreamer....

The most recent area construction list looks like this:

Village exterior [Dreamer128] - done waiting for it to be shared or updated as need be.

Inn [philip] 50% done

Tailor [+custom clothing] [Larry_OHF]- also wants to design general shop elements

Interior for normal housing [Legolas]- Legolas has two interiors done for these that need NPC's

Blacksmith [+custom items] [True-moose]- Almost done

Militia Barracks [+NPC Guards] [Chewbacca] - almost done

Barn interiors- Dreamer128 has one done, with the possibility of another suggested by philip

And I have added:
Bowyer/Fletcher [yet to be formally claimed]

So should we add a tavern or two, a couple more places to interact, buy, and sell? If not in the main village exterior, perhaps in an adjoining village area with some carvan carts and farms?

edit- I will be adding three custom forums at the guild today or tommorrow...

I think that having one smaller tavern would be a good idea, two only if the town is going to be very large.

I have the basic store set up and I ahve crafted a few clothing items that are pretty cool, I think. I will be adding a few more clothes before I release it to you guys.

Also, I expect to be able to make adjustments when I desire to help my store grow, like adding new items and making more things available. What I intend to do is after the initial release, I will at some point send a newer version over to replace the older one. Is that a problem?

It would not be frequent or too soon. It would be just right.

Now,...what? Where do I send this mod when I have finished?

NOTICE -The BioWare guild for this project is now listed as public so you don't have to join the guild to see the work done there. If you are registered at the official BioWare forums you can find us in the Guild Registry or click here to visit the Guildhall.

Great Larry! You can send it to me at robot6foot@hotmail.com or I can contact you privately with information on using the webbased file storage we have now for this project.

I think we can use some extra background. If you want to help just send a join request to the Ironworkers Module Design guild at nwn.bioware.com/guilds_registry/
