WAAAAHHH I want to see the movie now, not in two or three years Heck, I'd even watch it in German if necessary! And that's a major concession for me! (I don't think much of translations, they aren't necessarily as bad as the BG1 translation but they generally suck...)

Hasn't come out in the UK yet. I can't decide whether to go and see it or not! I've read the book so many times, at least 20, I'm afraid that the landscape in my head will never be the same after I see the film. How could Lothlorien ever live up to my image of it? Or Galadriel? Or Gandalf? But I really want to see the film......... What to do..........??

I can't wait! There are quite a few Aussies in that movie. I guess their accents didn't do them any harm.

I just hope they do the elves right. Nobody seems to have gotten them right so far in movie history. Especially Legolas, an inspiration to elven rangers everywhere...
