Hewwit played a great match. Sampras has had a real bad year but proved hes still got it by making it back to the final.
One thing I noticed about Hewwits game was that he rarely left the baseline. He was always back there picking his spots. Hewwit has had a great year! And he deserves to be champion after playing a great open...the match against Roddick was awesome. Good on Venus too for taking it ot her sister. |

 These replies are priceless!  I posted this thread pretty much within five minutes after Hewitt won. (Did I spell Lleyton wrong? How embarrassment!)  What a match! Of the last 14 games Sampras won only 2. Incredible considering Sampras had held serve for 71 consecutive games coming into the match! To rub ironic salt into the wound Hewitts winning point was a return off a Sampras serve. At 20 Hewitt is going to be a star. Very low unforced error rate, great groundspeed, returns and court coverage. Great serve. YEAH BABY! Aussie Aussie Aussie! No Wukkin Furries!
