Uhm... Alignment shifts throughout the game depending upon ones actions. The shift from evil to good or vica verca seems reasonably obvious but what about law vs chaotic and how does one stay nuetral?

To be evil you kill or hurt good NPCs? To shift towards good you act charitable. What about stealing? Technically, stealing is evil as you are financhially "hurting" others.

Or does stealing shift you towards chaotic? If so, how do you shift towards lawful?

And finally what does Nuetral (50) Good (50) mean? I would assume good (99) would be perfectly good while good (1) would almost be nuetral (on the good vs evil scale) but does nuetral (99) mean? Almost good (or lawful) or perfectly nuetral?

no clue... but I am concerned with alignment shifts.

I run a True Neutral druid. I helped someone out in the pensisula (essentially walking an old lady across the street) and got a shift of +3 towards good.

If I keep this up, doing nice acts occassionally, will I have to go on a tri-state killing spree to balance out and remain neutral?

That is about how it works. You need to be careful what you do in the game in order to balance out your alignment shifts...

If you notice during conversations with NPC's, the dialogue tree responses will allow you to keep your alignment in balance..

Some responses are good, some evil, and some neutral...

I think this game will make it hard for a true neutral to stay true neutral... Just due to all of the 'good' deeds that are found thruout the game...
