I have been looking for a copy of 6&7 for awhile now and have had no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase them?

Hmmm Wiz7 was released something like 8 or 9 years ago, I doubt you would find it anywhere except maybe on some Abandonware site. They released a Win95 version several years later, a copy of that might be floating around somewhere...

Wiz 7 for Win95 was published as "Wizardy Gold" Your chances of finding it as a stand alone game are going to be almost impossible, but it was included as part of several CRPG complilation packs - you should have a better chance of finding of one of these. Be advised - if you have anything faster than a Pentium 150, you will probably have trouble running Wiz Gold, even with patches and slowdown software - modern computers are just too fast for it !!

You need to look for the Ultimate Wizardry Archives, a collection released about three years ago by Interplay. It's still available.

Pangur Ban, I've been replaying WizGold just recently on my P II 450, and it runs flawlessly. It's not a Dos game, Wiz 7 was, but WizGold runs from the Windows 9x platform.

That's interesting ... I know Wiz Gold wasn't DOS, but I couldn't get it to run under Win 98 - kept getting crashes.

You can usually find the Ultimate Wizardry Archives (all of the Wizardry games from 1-7 + Gold) on e-Bay in the $10-$20 range. Otherwise, just look at some of the online software shops (www.compuexpert.com is one of my favorites, good selection & good rates on shipping) or check around at computer stores.

Good luck!
