Chapter 2 Creator Level Door Key (*spoilers*)

Apologizes in advance if the search engine for this site *has* been implemented, and/or the question appears elsewhere. I've looked through the forums, but I'm not going to grovel through *every* message [img]smile.gif[/img]

I've gotten past the "Troll/Ogre Cave" levels and am now on the 2nd (I think) Creator level. I found the scroll with the necessary password for the Gate Golem. However, beyond the golem is a unpickable/unbashable gate, and I've looked in every chest, every pile of Minoton leavings, gargoyle corpses, etc, and cannot find the necessary key. Where is it?

*sigh*. Of course, as soon as I post this, I spot another post on the subject.

If you are having problems with this area also, you might look at the "Golem" thread if no one answers here.

Hmm, well, I get to answer my own question.

After reading some other posts, it seemed one player just preferred to kill the Golems, and had no problems using the keys the inevitably drop. So, just kill 'im.
It seems to be a bug in the game that if you cooperate with them sometimes they forget to unlock the gates.
