Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction
Anyone else got this, or hanging out for it? Being in Australia, things are going pretty slowly as far as the release date is concerned. So much for the worldwide release date. I have been told its going to be another 6 days... and I am on holidays too so I have nothing to doo . I know D2 is not really an RPG, and a lot of people consider it to be a hack and slash type game (which it is), but I still think it is heaps of fun. ------------------ "Watch your back" |

I saw it on sale here in Singapore the day before yesterday, when I bought ToB. I guess the D2 expansion should be on sale in Australia pretty soon, as publishers have a habit of making Asia-Pacific editions.

Have to agree on the hack´n slach part, and that it´s a heap of fun! Hmm not released yet eh? MM, now the feeling, waiting for TOB here, been set to release at 18th of July, two days before it was supposed to be in stores waiting for my eager paws to rip it dow, been paid for and throwned into an eager computer longing for monsters and adventures.. ------------------ Yawning lazywolf dreaming about nice little fairies...zzzzz Wolfgirs lair once-upon-a-paper |

Diablo is unashamedly hack&slash, but completley fun becasuse of it!
There is no better cure for agression than to charge into a horde of skeletons and the like with a scythe, shouting "YARG!!!!!!!!" as loudly as possible. in my experience anyway ------------------ |

I don't dislike the Hack & Slash style of Diablo, its just that a lot of people dismiss it as a simply that, saying that it isn't a true RPG (as if it was meant to be). I really like it though, and have played it a fair bit - probably too much ...
Isn't it just annoying waiting! I am hanging out for it as I said. I will get ToB some other time (partly because I haven't finished BG2 yet) because I will be playing LoD for a while, if it is any good. ------------------ "Watch your back" [This message has been edited by sylent (edited 07-05-2001).] |
