I'm planning on being bored this summer and to keep from watching too much TV I'm going to spend some time reading. Can anyone recomend some good fantasies? Not too adult but children's books either. Authors like David Eddings would be nice to know.

Day of The Jackel. Excellent book, and no Bruce Willis

This will probably get more response in the Books, Movies etc. Forum so that's where I'm moving it. Btw, I'd recommend Philip Pullman's "His Dark Materia" trilogy.
