Has anyone seen this movie yet? If you have, tell us how good it is.. IŽve never bothered to go to a movie theatre, but now thereŽd be good reason to go. "Hannibal Hopkins" movies are always pleasure to watch.

Haven't seen it yet, but will soon. I saw the original, Manhunter some time back and am curious to see how they compare.

Did you ever see the original movie: Manhunter?

If so, which one did you like better?

Can I have your spleen too, Pauly? I imagine it would taste pretty damn good.

I didn't see the original, Brenda. I didn't know there even was one. What did you think of it?

Question Mark

It was okay. I didn't care for the lead actor in that one and was not overly impressed with the actor playing Hannibal. Not a bad movie, but could have been better. I shall now have to go see the new one. I'm sure I'll like Hopkins better.

Red Dragon was much better than Manhunter! Nearly on par with Silence Of The Lambs, and much, much better than Hannibal.

Dragonmage, did you notice the guy from Manhunter is the actor from C.S.I.?

It was better than Manhunter. I liked it a lot, despite my suspicions that it would be as crappy as the last Everyone's-favorite-Cannibal movie. Though, I must admit that seeing Gary Oldman in that character (in Hannibal, I mean) was pretty impressive.

Yes, I did notice that, Ronn. And I'll be catching up with the rest of you by seeing Red Dragon tomorrow! The consensus seems to be that RD is better, overall, than the original, so I'd be silly to miss out.
