Does anybody have the slightest idea what Imoen's belt is for?
She wears it in the beginning of the game, and it can't be removed. THE TINIEST LITTLE SPOILER EVER!!!!! \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ And it is gone when she is rescued..... [This message has been edited by Gil-Galad (edited 06-22-2001).] |

It stops Imoen dying. She cannot go below 1 HP - basically it's Script Immunity

No, usually at that health she starts to panic in fear and wont attack so that staregy is useless.

That's easy. The programmers were a bunch of cheesy swine who didn't want you deviating from the plot. Therefore they made most people indestructible until such a time when it didn't matter in the script:
. Imoen Irenicus Bodhi . They also put Player-killer hidden characters in in case you: . attack Mae'Var's thieves before you're meant to attack the surface elves in Underdark Exit . Yeah! I remembered accidentally hitting one of the elves with an area of effect spell and some souped-up character backstabbed me to death in one hit... ...
It sucked big time. Another time I killed the rebel thieves early because I didn't want to murder the Cowled Wizard... ... When I got back to BloodScalp, he dissed me for getting rid of his problem... ... So I attacked him and wtf???? Same story.  ------------------ If not a Sorcerer, then a Paladin.
