...and thats Kangaxx!

Earlier, I have had so much trouble defeating Kangaxx, but this takes him out as easy as possible, and without cheating.
NB. You must be in chapter 6, and equipped with the ring of the ram!

First, make a mage cast alot of magic resistance spells on you. Then go and kill Kangaxx the lich, so he becomes the demi-lich. This is the one I have usually had troubles with, but I dont anymore. Go a little away from him. When he is in the middle of casting his first spell, use the ring of the ram on him, so he will be damaged, and the casting is interupted. Then turn to the slayer, attack Kangaxx, and watch him become totally slayed by the slayer!

This only took my two tries.

I think the easiest way to defeat Kangaxx is with the improved Mace of Disruption. He always failed the saving throw. Worked 3 or 4 times in a row for me...

Mace of Disruption +1(2) rules against Kangaxx the Demi-Lich.

Honestly, I havent tried the Prot form Magic approach, BUT I had no problem going out of his tomb w/o a scratch and used but One scroll,

Protection from Undead, and carsomyr! Didnt even see me whacking away at him.

Easiest way:

Once you get a +4 weapon (Staff of Rynn for example, or Flametongue) buy a Protection from Magic and Undead scrolls.

In his Lich form, use the PfM scroll on HIM! All his spells will fail, even innate abilities. When he turns into the demilich, make sure most of your party is huddled by the entrance and lure him to the bottom left corner so your main party is out of his sight range (helps to do this before he actually transforms). Use the PfU scroll on yourself, perhaps an oil of speed, and thwack away!

I've NEVER died using this tactic...

Kaleban, I never thought of using the protection from Magic scroll on an enemy before. Sounds like a great idea.

Let's face it. Protection from Undead scrolls exist to deal with demi-lichs!!!
