Blackrazor was PnP sword from ad&d's Whiteplume Mountain, now that was one sweat assed sword.

If the stats are the same as that sword i.e it steals all the hp's of damage you do and adds the to your own up to 2X you max plus it is violently intelegent and thirsts for action, which made him-the sword-a great companion.

Blackrazor is a reward for a certain course of action (or its "stealthy" workaround) later in the game.

Elric's Stormbringer is a reference to a hell-forged runesword in Michael Moorcock's Elric books (part of the Eternal Champion series). From looking at Blackrazor's description, its powers seem reminiscent of that runesword, but just toned down some. If you're not familiar with Stormbringer's power, its basically an evil runesword forged by Chaos to combat Law, and its main function is to steal the soul out of whomever it strikes, instantly killing them and feeding a portion of the soul's energy to the wielder of the accursed hellsword. One-hit kills on any mortal enemy, and it also sucks the power out of gods and powers themselves.

I think Daystar is +4 against undead. It's +2 against other enemies.
And you know what would be a cool TOB combo?

Daystar is not +4 against undead, it doesnt hit Kangaxx **shrug** useless

however, its ability to cast Sunray makes it a MUST-HAVE. it deals sh*t loads of dmg to undead in a single round

if you combine it with certain dupe-self spells, you can take out any lich (undead) with exception of Kangaxx in one round (solo game)

Daystar is +2, +4 against evil, double against undead and indeed a very good longsword. And you can get it in chapter 2,already.
