FINISHED!!! (Spoilers)

Gidday, well I finally managed to finish the epic Wizards and Warriors - what a huge adventure and what a excellent RPG. This is the party i took thru:

Dwarf Male - Fight/barb/Pal/Rang/Nin/Sam
Whiskah Male - Fight/Barb/Pal/Nin/Sam
Elf Female - Fight/barb/Bard/Sam/Nin/Pal/Zenmaster
Rattling Male - Rog/bard/Nin/Assasin/Sam/Barb
Elf male - Wiz/Warlock/Nin/Sam/Rang/Barb
Pixie Female - Prie/pal/nin/barb/Valk

it was great to be able to class change so much, but it would have also been good to have some skills only reachable at higher levels in a given class. I liked having the horses and ships to get around and of course the teleporting and call home spells were very helpful. Although it was a fairly standard EVIL LORD story it was unraveled well and there were many puzzles to solve before getting to Lord Cet. Killing Cet was to easy I thought, it was a long fight, but I just kept hacking away at him and even when he said it was time for me to die he didn't seem to throw much at me. Oh well, was great to take him down.

YAY! Congrats Nutman! Will you reset and play again? I recommend it to really get a feel for your new classes (zenmaster and valkyrie).

that oughta be WAY cool! ur zenmaster can start to cast all sorts of funny spells and gif the enemy a hard time, while keeping ur party in good shape....

but still, wat special traits does the valkyrie haf???

Congrats on making it through, Nutman! Your deeds already echo throughout the halls of the land...

And like everyone else has said, once you're through once, it's time to play again! For a challenge, take just your zenmaster or valkyrie out to play. You'd be amazed how fun a solo game can be... and just as amazed at how your inventory problems (of having too much stuff) diminish!

As for Cet, I agree -- by the end of the game, there's little he can do to me magically, and he doesn't hit me physically often enough. He should probably summon some helpers in that final scene, just to make it more fair. After all, he brought in two demon lords to help take out G'Ezerred Ra, didn't he?

In my last full game final battle, I just equipped two characters with the sword and staff, and had everyone attack. The other four just watched their weapons bounce off, but the first two kept hitting away.

Don't stay away, and if you head on over, I'll buy you a drink at the Boogre Bar.

my question isnt answered yet...........
anyway, isnt playing a solo character dangerous??? i mean, once u get turned insane or petrified or SOMETHING else that renders ur party incapable of fighting, it's game over right?

but still, i'm curious as to try it out........

That can happen when playing a solo game. This past week, however, Missy was turned insane, but I could still control her, finish the battle, and head back to the temple for healing. Not sure if it was a bug or not, but it was refreshing [img]smile.gif[/img]

And in any case, that's why you recite the mystic mantra frequently of "save early, save often, save before, save after".

Now just play the game again and try to solve puzzle's by solo char or some other way, We surte have plenty of choices to play this game !

Yes LiOnHe@rT ,you are in big trouble if you getting stoned or something...
That's why save game!

Don't know, but I hate it when my priest turns into insane...
I could't cure him by my self, but was able to get into temple 'cause I had other people in party... Havn't heard that before that you can control your stoned/insane solo character before... B. you were lucky to get Missy into temple, I think it was a bug.

Bungleau, I have the same experience. An insane solo character is not so insane. It can continue to fight and it can even cast spells. It can cure itself by means of the Exorcism spell. In the other words, insanity isn't any threat to a solo character [img]smile.gif[/img]
On the other hand, if you get stoned, the game is over.

ARE U SURE that u can control an insane character to fight??? my bro played W&W and when all his characters got turned insane by the sphinx the game ended! maybe it IS a bug after all............SO LUCKY!!! [img]graemlins/blush.gif[/img]
