I thought I understood how chests reset. I thought if you leave the area, let it reload, and then come back, that the items in the chest would be different.
I'm not understanding some part anywho, i'm in the queens room, trying to get the Zatoichi Bo. Just how can I get this? thanks |

For chest part, the content inside is determine when you first enter an area. So to get a different content from the chest. Save first before entering an area and reload if the content of the chest is not to your satisfaction.
For loots from dead enemies, the content that drop is determine upon its death. So save first before you kill something and reload if the loot it drop isn't to your satisfaction. |

Eyup.
I used the save and reload method to get myself the lightsword. It took plenty of reloads though. |

But there is a fixed Zatoichi Bo in the upper Rapax castle, so unless you need several of them, just grab this one. (spoilers ahead) The fix one is in the kings treasury, just where you got the queens key. All you need is another parchment. (spoilers ahead) There are 3 parchments in a safe in the upper rapax castle. You need a key to open it. (spoilers ahead) You get the key from the constable in the basement (kill him or pickpocket) |

There are Z-bos in other chests, too, but you have to be L31+ to get them. And they're low-percent random.
