Just wanting to know what levels some of you guys are at and how many times you've played the game through. It seems that it would take a looong time to level after a certain point.

I forget what are the highest levels I have seen players post here. Some have been over 150.

I think there is a point in the game where the next level requires the same amount of experience as the last rather than always increasing so higher levels would not be as time consuming as you might think.

I don't know exactly but I know that I once had a level 178 Assassin (1 playtrough, solo elf (10% more XP), no cheating, killing everything that moved -even bugs )

If you really want to get a ridiculous amount of experience in one big go, then kill the Oakenmir. Obviously, you would do this after you talked to him, and be prepared for a long battle. He has several thousand hitpoints. But he gives about 10,500,000 experience points. I did this with a single character, a level 13 samurai. He went straight to level 55. It took me almost as much time to do all of the levelling up as it did to kill him!

I've lost track as to how many times I've played this game, but on my last run through, I created a Zenmaster and Valkyrie from scratch and am using them by themselves this time through. I'm in the temple of Cet now, and they are each about 74th level.

I belive the experience requirement for advancement caps at around 250K or so, so you still get to advance pretty quickly in the Brimloch Roon area as its such an experience rich enviroment. I have a 3rd level Oomphaz barbarian which I use as a mule who will go up about 5 levels if he so much as does a cannonball off of the shipyard docks!

Next time I think I'll just use my Zenmaster, but I may have to have him run around naked, armed with only a Bo stick, to keep things even.
