Hi. I play a druid. He is currently level 9. I have some friends who play too, but they play different classes. And it strikes me that I have far less problems solving tasks, killing off enemies etc. than they are. The druid seems to be a VERY versatile class, fit to solve almost any problem alone. I currently play without a henchman, as I dont see the point in having one along.

I mean, I have decent ranged attack with a sling+2, and some magical bullets. I got a staff (That wizard in blacklake's staff), which I use when casting spells. Also I got a fey spear+1 for close combat (which I dont prefer). Call lightning works indoors(whaaaaat!?), and together with flame strike, and summon monster 5, + companion, everything seems VERY easy. Do I have a point, or will I get screwed later on? (Im currently in act 2).

Druid is my favorite class. Very versatile. Mine took exotic weapons and has this kick ass +3 double sword. All told I have a 28 dex and 19 strenth thanks to items plus I took 4 levels of thief to take care of locks/traps. Very versatile character thats at home in the front lines or in the back.

You may run into trouble with some of the beefy creatures later because you don't have much armor or hitpoints. But yes a druid is a versatile class.
