Thanks(Look!I have actually started using the expression that is normally used in conversations!Giggling)Maybe I just had complicated something.I used to assume that participating a forum was like to send formal letters,at least semi-formal ones,to the website.Eventually,I realized that I had better take everything easy and do it like a conversation in our daily life.Terrific! And another thing that I would like to clarify is that the English lauguage education in Singapore is not inflexible at all.The reason that we have always been trained to write formal essays is that we have been so casual and relaxed in our compositions that some of us even have got no idea about the essential rules in essay writing.I just misunderstood the forum and the way people expressed themselves here.I am sorry.

No need to apologize either, you've done nothing wrong. A simple WTF or LOL would have been enough.

Ugh, stop that Johnny! We don't want to assimilate Redlong into the boring, unimaginative army of "LOL"-sayers! We have Xen to take care of all the needed LOLs and then some.
I think it's refreshing to see someone here who can actually string more than three words together into a coherent sentence.
But you're right he didn't need to apologise.

lol!!! Your right
What about my right, Hivetyrant? And what's this... tossing in an LOL and a two word sentence as the contents of your post? Are you deliberately poking fun at the previous discussion? 'cause it works, if you are...

Hey, what's wrong with LOL? I use it occasionally. It's good to let other people know you are laughing and it's better than typing "I am laughing, just so you know"

Of course, overuse and abuse of LOL is a different matter... heh

Hmmm lately, HT's posting has reminded me of myself when I was much younger: i.e. when I already liked being cheeky, but didn't know how to really be witty or funny (not that I do now, but I knew even less when I was younger)

Don't worry, you'll never be like me. Our backgrounds are too different, and you don't know enough about rap

Redlong : the new style is better, you're a quick learner. Stick with me and I'll teach all the best ways to cuss (make fun of) everyone on here
