I have been thinking, and in my recent experiments, I believe it is easier to solo than to play with a party! Yes! It could be true!

My reasoning behind this is that the more people you have, the longer it takes to level up and therefore also longer to reach godliness, whereas a solo character can attain near godliness after doing the crypt and all of the quests around Valeia (including the toad quest).

So tell me whatcha think.

Oh, btw, was there ever a limit as to the maximum level you can attain?????

I got a 89th level warlock once.....

Cheers,

Moiraine Sedai

I tend to agree with you. Going up a level after attacking Rumphy is pretty fast...

So.... the hardest party might be a party of six rogues. They can open any chest, but anything stronger than a roach is questionable...

i wonder, is a 3-character party consisting of 1 wizard, 1 priest and 1 warrior good? coz this is how i plan to go in the near future.........

But having several spellcasters in a party means having the opportunity of healing up while in combat. They can also specialize in different ways of magic more quickly. Chances are there will always be one with a potent healing spell whose mana is not used up. Also monsters' attacks will be more spread out between the party members!

I think this balances the differences in the early part of the game.

Personally, I think that a three-person quest is one of the best ways to play the game...a warrior for the han-to-hand melee combat, a mage for the long-distance blasting that will come in handy by the second town, and someone of the faith to heal any damage done by your opponents.

BTW as far as I know there is no level cap on the game (i'm currently on lvl. 200) unless there has been a new patch released that i have not heard about.
