- - - - - - - - - - I'm past the underdark now and am about to go after Bohdi yet Edwin still won't 'talk' about translating his nether scroll...and yes, we've killed that lich down in the graveyard district and i got the journal entry saying edwins got the scroll and will study it closely, and i'm up to about 120 game days too...why won't he change??? And also, does Viconia ever get chased by the Yochlol? cos i went through the underdark without encountering anything to do with Vic...help pls  ------------------ Yes indeed... |

Bristowe, I believe that quests like these (edwin's nether scroll) will only continue/trigger once you get back to Athkatla or more precisely, as soon as you finish the Underdark Chapter. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to solve Edwin's nasty little problem because the people you'd need are not in the Underdark. This also works for Jaheira's harper quest, Mazzy's quest, etc. They only work in Chapter 2 or in Chapter 5/6 (can't remember the correct no.)

That's right Melusine's right for once (jk)
When you come out of the underdark he should begin to translate the neither scroll. If you play through the game again try and do Edwin's nether scroll quest near the start of the game..... ------------------
