Well, White Australia NOW is impossible to implement without a race war. Also, I think the issue with the people who plotted to commit these acts isn't due to "white Australia" or wheatever, it's due to the fact Australia is a Democratic, White, Christian nation, not a muslim theocracy.

Australia is a Democratic - give you that.

White, -Errrr if I'm not entirely wrong, the Aboriginal population might just have a slight disagreement with that.

LOL - you ain't the only one Shamrock - many of us that live here haven't heard about it either. That is because it was the unofficial term for Australia's immigration policy from 1900's through to early 1970 (I think) so you have to delve into history. Nor was the practice unusual at the time :

Australia was not the only nation to have a discriminatory immigration policy. The United States, Canada and New Zealand also had racially restrictive immigration policies in the 19th and early 20th centuries. At this time many people believed that there were deep and innate differences between races, and that their own race was superior to all other races. However, it should be noted that these racist views were common but not the dominant political ideology at the time.

Nowadays it is only the lunatic fringe that preach that sort of ethnic purity tripe. The movement grew from nothing to peak at about 10% of the national vote before the leaders started squabbling andd shotting themselves in the foot. I would estimate that support for the loony right runs at about 2-4% at the moment.

I probably could have guessed what happened to all of those indigenous people (aboriginal, autocthonous, native, take your pick) based on normative colonialism, but man, 1%? That's the same percentage Native Americans in the US occupy.

Edit: LOL at that "Australia for the Australians" pin. I guess it goes without saying that racist-nationalists think alike in different countries. Depending on how that's interpreted, that could mean that white and asian Australians have to pack up and leave.
