Jabidas imediatly stumbles into a trap in which he cant move from that spot, hes not exactly worried as three big, smelly and angry goblins sprint around the corner, they pull up suddenly, stare in shock and disbelief, one of the creature even wets itself as red dragons head appears out of nowhere opens widly and the flames engulf them. They have time to draw breath but not to scream. The sorcerer says sorry about the overkill while untangling himself.

The elf stays behind the nanobyte now, caution will win the day, that or the ubergods at the back.

Lord Raptor disarms traps a-plety. One, however, proved ndetectable ad set off some sort of alarm - you see a Dungeonkeeper style skull and bone rapping away - other rapping noises in the distance too - UH-OH!!

Rhazor halts the party. He puts his hand to his face, motioning everyone to remain still and be quiet. "There are Orcs and Hobgoblins behind the next door, something else is there, but I cannot tell exactly what it is. It is a magical being, but I know not what." He suddenly perks his head up. "An Efreeti?"

LR has 1 Death Cloud memorised. Other spells I will have to reload my last Lord Raptor save to check. Most I know though

Lord Raptor hides in shadows. Viconia opens the door, hinting at Jabidas to hold off for a mo. The efreet opens up with a fireball. As he casts it, Viconia closes the door again. The fireball explodes in the room, not the corridor and the hobgoblins, etc. burn! There's only the efreet left now

OOC: Thought I might acctually advance the plot rather than do what i usally do and play out a mini drama.

IC: In the far corners of the goblin maze there is the faint sound like a small animal choaking, father inspection would reveal it as our three villains who were currently trying to comfort one of there number who was currently having a mid life crisis.

"Do you want a hug?" said thief in a tone usually reserved for patronising children and old people.

"NO... have you got a tissue, I've er.. got something in my eye."

Taking a small hankerchief from the hands of theif, the knight turned away from his two companions to blow his nose, a more astute oserver might have noticed a small drop in temperature as he opened his visor.

"I'm so sorry about this, I don't know what happened back there. This whole 'awsome power of evil thing hasn't really gone as I planned. I thought it would be dark castles and kidnapping princesses not demanding legwax off whatever idiots would choose *of their own acord* to journey into this godforsaken maze of tunnels."

"Welcome to my world.", Delphie randomly stabbed at the air as she spoke.

"And your constant critism doesn't help at all, if you could just try to be a bit nicer to both theif and I this whole trip would be much more plesent."

"Tell you what, give me back my staff and you'lll never have to worry about me ever aga-", their argument was suddenly interupted as a a massive explosion rocked the cavern.

In a blur of motion all three warriors were on their feet with weapons drawn.

"What was that!?", lighting arced from each of the black clad knights rune axes.

Drawing back the sleeves on her robe Delphie focused her dark magical energy into the tips of her fingertips which were held high over her head.

"Some sort of elemental creature, probally a djinn, serveral spellcasters of moderate power, at least half a dozen. A lot of spiritual energy which would mean clerics or paladins or even some sort of druid or ranger.", there was a shrap exhale of breath at this point, "and the granddaddy of all undead... some sort of of megalich."

"More powerfull than you?", the question from the fighter was laced with aprehention and excitment.

"I don't know I can't get a reading on it's magical level because it's not technically alive."

"Where?"

"About um... four hundred feet to our left."

"Thief, I need you detecting traps, this is something that I have to check out."

"What about our backup plan?" asked the thief.

"We know where it is... anyway if we keep waiting here they may go strait past us, this is just the kind of chance we were looking for and we *might* even get a good fight out of this." the contours of his visor seemed to slowly move into a grin.

"Alright just don't go shouting anything about smiting evil.. makes me look bad." Delphie' robes bellowed out behind her as the three set off down the tunnel.

Ace's Thief scouts down the corridor carefully in the shadows. Lord Raptor does the same in the other direction, looking for traps. He notices the thief who is looking dumbfounded at this armoured chicken with a Katana

Seeing the chicken looking at him (evilly if possible), the Thief demands he surrenders his leg wax

The chicken responds by demanding the thief's entrails for dinner or he will rip off the thief's head and s*** down his neck. (he actually makes clucking noises but you understand him just the same)

To emphasise his point, this chicken summons a Greater Earth Elemental to help 'convince' the thief

Both parties are alerted by this interchange

Suddenly, the Thief feels a strong thrust in his back. "Stand where you are, and drop your weapon." The Thief begins to speak. "No, I don't have time for games, do you want that chicken to kill you?!" The Thief places his weapon down, and Rhazor pushes him towards the party. "Smart move."
