There's a lich on the 4th floor of WK in the Githyanki encampment, and I was having so much trouble taking him out. Every one was constantly getting imprisoned, so I finally found an extremely cheesey tactic to take him out with just my sorceror.

I always hear people using SI: Abjuration, which is a method I used to use. But now I'm thinking, why not use Spell Trap instead? It should work. So my Sorceror casts ST, and fights the lich till he gets 2-3 imprisonments on him. Then I cast another ST. BTW, my sorceror can cast 7 level 9 spells at this point, and he's at level 28. Each time the lich used Imprisonment, I'd gain back level 9 spells to cast. Now, right when the lich used its second imprisonment on a new ST, I'd use Time Stop and whack away. When I thought the TS was running out, I'd use another ST. I used this tactic and managed to take the lich out with the Staff of the Magi, inflicting no more than 2 damage per hit .
