Like Target, i put my tanks/fighters on top for nostalgic reasons. Among them, i put people with criticals first. This is because i play expert ironman only, so being able to kill things efficient is more important to me than giving all characters a chance to improve their skills.

For other characters: If i have a bard, he is last (or second to last). I want him to be able to sleep the monsters after i'm done with damage dealing. Even after the bard is the priest, so he can cast a level 1 stamina on the Bard to wake him if he's exhausted.

That's a good idea about the bard and priest I'll have to remember that for my next party!!

I might also try them the other way round, but that could confuse me as I'm so use the the way they are now...am I getting 'old' and 'set in my ways'...aagghhhhhhhh

Oh party order at creation, sorry about that.

I'm different than others, I put my party order according to my rl family age.

Fighter (me, since I'm the oldest), top left
Ninja (my sister), top right
Priest (my oldest dog), middle left
Gadgeteer (my other dog) ,middle right
Ranger (my youngest dog), bottom left
Samurai (my cat, whom we bought after the 3 dogs, so the youngest of all), bottom right

Strange no? Oh, I do this on any game that have a party.
