Oh, Kakero:

One more thing -

Are these symbols the Chinese Language, or are they Mandarin or Cantonese?

It'd be cooler to say my tattoo is in Cantonese or Mandarin rather than Chinese

man, you need to chill, no one really wants to hear insults. and that is just plain rude.
You are the 1st person on the internet and the 4th person today to inform me of this exact same issue. I will place myself on ice detail tomorrow, and will consume 1 qt of water every hour that it's above 100* F.

I will leave the board for a short duration, and will return once I'm no longer needing to chill!

all the symbols be it cantonese or mandarin are same, the only difference between the different dialects is the pronounciation,
unless the characters are simplified, or traditional, but thats somthing different entirely
so basically you won't know if it's mandarin or cantonese until it's pronounced.

i'm pretty sure in this, but then again i'm just a student

well yeah you can say that, it's in mandarin, but if you're saying it to a person who know's chinese it'd make you look bad, but you'd want to know how to pronounce it in mandarin or cantonese, then it'd be better
but when you say what language it is in, just say chinese

So if your saying the phrase, do you have to say it in Mandarin or Cantonese to make it say what I want?

And where will I be able to hear it so I know how to pronounce it!
